Committed to the environment

We will ensure that the activities and processes we engage in and the products we make minimize our impact on the environment. We will continually seek to improve our environmental performance!

All carpet adhesives manufactured by XL Brands are CRI Green Label Plus™ certified. Green Label Plus is a voluntary, industry testing program for carpet and adhesive products that establishes the highest standard for indoor air quality (IAQ) ever set by the carpet industry. The Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI™) created Green Label Plus to identify carpets and adhesives that are tested by an independent, certified laboratory and meet stringent criteria for low chemical emissions.

The majority of XL Brands’ adhesives also carry FloorScore® and Material Health Certifications. FloorScore certifies that the adhesive conforms to SCS-EC 10.3-2014 for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). FloorScore is a certification mark trademarked by the Resilient Floor Covering Institute. The Material Health Certificate is awarded to products assessed against the requirements in the Material Health category of the Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Product Standard. management system is operating effectively in conformity to the standard. XL Brands are proud to have achieved ISO 14001:2015 certification.
